There Was Enthusiasm And Joy When Ganjar Pranowo Left His Free Homecoming Group At Pasar Senen Station

JAKARTA - Matahari has not yet appeared, but hundreds of Central Javanese have flocked to Pasar Senen Station in Jakarta to return to their hometowns. This morning, a resident of Central Java who was living in Jabodetabek was released by the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo by train.

Even though it was blind in the morning, the faces of the travelers were all cheerful. How not, going home this time is free of charge. They took part in the free homecoming program via a train held by the Central Java Provincial Government.

Moreover, their return was delivered directly by the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo. Ganjar came when the first batch of train homecoming departed, Tuesday, April 18 at 04.30 WIB. Around 800 travelers departed using the North Kutojaya train.

After greeting the passengers and distributing toys to the children, Ganjar immediately dressed up in the style of a train officer. He wore a special hat and held a train signal. After receiving the code from the officer, Ganjar turned on the green light and the train immediately walked.

"Wow, I'm very happy, bro, this free homecoming really helps us. This is thanks to Mr. Ganjar. Moreover, we were delivered directly to him. Thank you Mr. Ganjar for the free homecoming and attention to us," said Horison, 51, a travelers from Banyumas.

Horison said Eid homecoming tickets always go up every year. This year alone, train tickets can reach Rp. 350,000. That number is quite large for Horisons who work as motorcycle taxi drivers.

"Obviously it is difficult to rely on money from motorbikes for homecoming, that's why we are very grateful for this free homecoming program. Hopefully, every year there will always be," he said.

The same thing was conveyed by Fitri, 40, a travelers from Purworejo. According to Fitri, it is impossible for her to go home for Eid with her family if there is no free homecoming.

"Alhamdulillah, I can go home with my family. It's free again. Thank you, Mr. Ganjar. This really helps us. Hopefully, Mr. Ganjar will always be healthy and successful so that free homecoming like this can continue," he said.

Meanwhile, the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, said he was very happy to see the enthusiasm of Central Java residents participating in the free homecoming program by train. According to him, it can unravel congestion on the streets and be more comfortable.

"We are happy to see the public enthusiastic about participating in this free homecoming. I see them happy because they can meet their families soon and make Eid in their hometowns," he said.

Homecoming for free by train, Ganjar continued, is quite in demand. Because apart from being faster, going home with this mode of transportation is also known to be more comfortable.

In addition to trains, Ganjar has also dispatched travelers using buses. Apart from residents of Central Java in Jabodetabek, this year Ganjar Pranowo also made a free homecoming program for residents of Central Java who live in Medan, South Sumatra, Lampung and West Java.

There are three series of trains used by the Central Java Provincial Government to transport 1,888 free travelers this year. Namely the North Kutojaya train serving the Jakarta-Kutoarjo route, Jaka Tingkir train serving travelers on the Jakarta-Solo and Menoreh routes serving the Jakarta-Semarang route. All train series departed today, namely morning, afternoon and evening.

"There are also those who use ships. There are two Kemaron, assistance from Pelni and the TNI. In addition, there must also be people who go home using private vehicles. We will continue to monitor and prepare everything so that this year's homecoming runs smoothly," concluded Ganjar Pranowo.
