Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) Mahfud MD said the National Committee for the Prevention and Eradication of Money Laundering (TPPU) was targeting the most transactions from the PPATK Examination Report (LHP) data regarding suspicious transactions worth IDR 349 trillion to the Ministry of Finance. The biggest investigation of transactions was the result of a decision from a meeting with committee members, including the Coordinating Minister for the Economy, the Minister of Finance, the Minister of Law and Human Rights, and others. "The committee will carry out case building by prioritizing the largest-valued LHP," said Mahfud, who is also the Chairman of the Money Laundering Committee at the PPATK Office, Monday, March 10. The decision to investigate it was because the suspicious transaction had an impact on Basar in various ways. In fact, it has attracted the attention of the public. Meanwhile, the largest transaction value of all suspicious transactions at the Ministry of Finance reached Rp. 189 trillion. "Because it has become a public concern, starting from the LHP of more than Rp. 189 trillion," he said. In the investigation mechanism, the National TPPU Committee will form a task force (task force) consisting of several law enforcement officers (APH). Thus, the perpetrators can be legally processed. The task force consists of PPATK, Directorate General of Taxes, Directorate General of Customs and Excise, Bareskrim Polri, Pidsus AGO, OJK, State Intelligence Agency (BIN) and Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs.

"The committee will soon form a joint team or task force that will carry out supervision to follow up on all LHA LHP with an aggergate value of more than Rp. 349 trillion by case building or building cases from scratch," said Mahfud.
