Bima Arya Bans Bogor City ASNs From Using Lebaran Homecoming Official Vehicles

BOGOR - Bogor City Government, West Java prohibits state civil servants (ASN) from using official cars on Eid al-Fitr 1444 hijriyah/2023 masehi and this policy is the same as in previous years.

Bogor Mayor Bima Arya Sugiarto when interviewed about the ASN homecoming rules after attending the cross-sectoral coordination meeting in 2023 in the context of preparing for the security of Eid al-Fitr 1444 Hijriyah at the Bogor City Police Headquarters, said nothing had changed about the rules for not wearing a homecoming official car.

"The policy is still the same from the past. Nothing has changed," Bima said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, April 6.

Bima emphasized that so that services to the community are not disturbed, every ASN must have permission first if you want to go home to this Eid al-Fitr 1444 Hijriyah.

In the situation of the COVID-19 pandemic that has begun to subside, he said, the Bogor City Government has not tightened the ASN homecoming permit as long as the service schedule for the community continues to run well.

The government, through a joint decision of the Minister of Religion, the Minister of Manpower and Transmigration and the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform regarding National Holidays in 2023 regarding Eid al-Fitr 1444 H falls on April 22 and 23, 2023.

The government has changed the schedule for Eid al-Fitr 1444 Hijri or Lebaran joint leave from the previous 21'26 April 2023 to 19' April 25, 2023.

Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi stated that the change in the schedule for Eid leave was decided in a limited meeting regarding the preparation of the homecoming flow led by President Joko Widodo at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Friday (24/3).

"The important thing is that permits, which are on leave as well as permits, picket schedules are regulated and homecoming is strictly prohibited from carrying official cars," he said.
