The dismissal of Brigadier General Endar Priantoro as Director of Investigation at the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) raised many issues, one of which was regarding the handling of the alleged corruption case in Formula E. Brigadier General Endar Priantoro is said to have disagreed with Firli Bahuri as the Chair of the KPK in handling the case. However, Endar was reluctant to comment on the issue. He only emphasized that the decision of the leadership meeting (rapid) on the reasons for his dismissal was considered unreasonable. "I will not say whether this is related to the handling of Formula E or not," Endar told reporters, Tuesday, April 4. The irregularity of the decision became the basis for filing a complaint against Firli Bahuri and the Secretary General of the KPK Cahya H Harefa to the Supervisory Board (Dewas). So, later the decision will be tested. "What is certain is that I am currently only testing, while this is testing on this decision," he said. Brigadier General Endar was dismissed from his position as Director of Investigation on the grounds that his tenure had expired. Endar's termination was stated in the decree of the Secretariat General of the KPK with number 152/KP.07.00/50/03/2023. The letter explained that Endar's tenure at the KPK had been completed on March 31, 2023.

In addition, the dismissal was conveyed by the Secretary General (Sekjen) of the KPK Cahya H. Harefa. He said the KPK had sent a face-to-face letter to the Police on March 30, 2023 and honorably dismissed Brigadier General Endar Priantoro from his position as Director of Investigation.
