After The War The Words With Elon Musk, Jack White Auctions His Tesla Car

JAKARTA - Jack White is auctioning off his Tesla car after publicly attacking Elon Musk several times in recent months.

Former White Stripes vocalist, who was once a big Tesla fan, has shown his dislike for Musk over the past year.

He also attacked the boss of SpaceX and Tesla over Trump's return to Twitter, calling him "absolutely disgusting" and "moved arm" on Musk's side.

White then closed his Twitter account, and then mocked Musk's "free speech" typology after Kanye West's Twitter account was banned.

Now, the musician is auctioning off his Tesla alongside other selected items for virtual garage sales with his label Third Man, after partnering with Everything But The House.

Part of the proceeds will be donated to Clark Park Coalition in Southwest Detroit.

White once mentioned Musk "Henry Ford 21st century", but in recent months he has used much more offensive words for the tech maestro.

After Trump returned to Twitter, White spoke to Musk and asked him to be "honest" and "say as it is", adding that "people like him] and Joe Rogan (who provide platforms to terrorists like Alex Jones, etc.)" are given financial incentives to support figures who spread hate speech.

When Musk later banned West from Twitter, White wrote in a post: "So Elon, how did the 'free speech' work?"

Earlier this month, White later criticized Mark Wahlberg and Mel Gibson for meeting "fascist" Trump.
