JAKARTA - Gloria Jessica has again shown her ferocity through her latest breakthrough, releasing an EP entitled What Are We Now? which was released via Sinjitos Collective. This album contains two songs, What Are We Now? and Curiosities.
The title track of What Are We Now? Reflecting on life during the pandemic and now, bringing listeners to face the vibrations of uncertainty while living calls for us to make decisions, stand in the midst of gamang and anxiety about welcoming a hopeful future.
This song presents Gloria's distinctive powerful vocals accompanied by flavor-grabbing music, her work with producer and songwriter Joseph Saryuf (Iyub, Sinjitos Collective).
What Are We Now? marks Gloria's move towards a new era in her music career, after finally releasing the album Harlequin in 2021.
"This is my new journey... Indeed, so far I realized that I had disappeared. But through these two songs, I went back to work.
