JAKARTA - US Vice President Kamala Harris showed off her new blacklist earlier this week and shared several of her favorite artists.

The politician was shopping at Home Rule Records in Washington, DC when he stopped to share his thoughts on his purchases with the photographer.

"Do you know music?" he joked in a video posted to his Instagram last week.

He later released Charlie Mingus' album, which he called "completely one of the greatest jazz players ever".

Also in that catch can be seen Roy Ayers' Everybody Loves the Sunshine album, which Harris describes as one of his "favorable albums of all time" and "classical".

Finally, he showed off a collaborative Louis Armstrong and Ellamas 1959, Porgy and Bess.

I am happy to stop by @hrrecords in DC to celebrate Small Business Week, Kamala wrote in her post.

"Mingus, Ayers, mariju, dan Armstrong... if you don't know, now you know!"

Meanwhile, earlier this year it was revealed that more of the disk sold over CDs for the first time in 35 years.

According to figures released by the Entertainment Retailers Association (ERA), black disk album sales grew to 150.5 million in 2022, as CD album sales fell to 124 million.

December also marks the week of sales of the largest blacklist in the US since 1991.
