LE SSERAFIM Duet With Nile Rodgers For New Album

JAKARTA - LE SSERAFIM will release their first album with various surprises, one of which is an extraordinary collaboration with producer Nile Rodgers of Chic. Today, Tuesday, April 18, they released a call with Rodgers via video call.

LE SSERAFIM with five members greeted Nile Rodgers who was in the studio with Bang Si Hyuk, founder of Big Hit Music.

"It's an honor to be able to meet you. This is an extraordinary thing. It feels like a dream. You are a music legend, so you can't imagine collaborating with you," Yunjin said, one of the members of LE SSERAFIM in English.

LE SSERAFIM and Nile Rodgers will duet in the song Unforgiven. This song is the main track of the debut album.

When I heard the song, I thought it was good. Even though I was working on another song, I said 'Let me try this song', said Nile Rodgers.

The song sounds cool. The first thing I did was break down the track and I felt 'Wow, this is really cool' and I started jamming and thinking about how to make this sound cute, "he said again.

Nile Rodgers also plans to include this song on the Chic stage in the future. Rodgers is known to be the producer for Lady Gaga, Daft Punk, and others.

"We're a live band so we're always trying to do it like our style. If you see Chic playing, you see us playing Madonna, David Bowie, Diana Ross, that's what we do," said Rodgers.

Apart from Unforgiven, LE SSERAFIM presents 12 tracks including three songs from the mini album FEARLESS with a new version. The first studio album, UNFORGIVEN will be released on May 1.
