JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) reported that the physical progress of basic infrastructure work for the capital city of Nusantara (IKN) phase 1 totaling 40 packages has reached 77 percent to date.

"There are two stages of work in the IKN infrastructure by the Ministry of PUPR. For stage 1 of the contract work package before March 2023, as many as 40 packages worth almost Rp. 25 trillion, the progress is currently 77 percent. This is indeed the main thing," said the Head of the IKN Development Task Force. Danis said, for the second phase of infrastructure work itself, the construction progress has now reached 25 percent.
