Deputy for Distribution and Services Statistics, BPS Pudji Ismartini, said that the score was lower than June 2023 which was 3.52 percent yoy.

Pudji detailed, based on the expenditure group, annual inflation is mostly contributed by transportation.
"When viewed from the commodities, the largest contributors come from gasoline, rice, filter kretek cigarettes, house contracts, and city transportation," he said.
Pudji added that the largest annual inflation on the island of Sumatra occurred in Bengkulu. Then, in Java, there are Surabaya, Bali Islands and Nusa Tenggara in Waingapu.
"On the island of Kalimantan, the largest annual inflation occurred in Pontianak City. Then, Sulawesi is in Luwuk, and Maluku-Papua is the highest in Merauke," he said.
