JAKARTA - Head of the Capital Archipelago Authority (IKN) Bambang Susantono said, until now more than 220 potential investors or letter of intent (LoI) are interested in investing.

The 220 LoIs are infrastructure, health facilities, education, housing, waste treatment, energy supply (EBT), telecommunications and information, office buildings, shopping centers (commercial), trade and services, connectivity and transportation, consulting services, and industrial estates.

"LoI total or the wishes of prospective domestic and foreign investors are approximately more than 220 LoI," Bambang told reporters after being met at the Government Regulation Socialization event Number 12 of 2023 in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta, Tuesday, May 23.

Even so, Bambang continued, hundreds of LoI still need time to realize into investment.

"Then for macul in the field (investment realization) it takes time, yes," he said.

According to Bambang, potential investors will later make a feasibility study (FS), look at the topographic field, so that it becomes part of the investment that will be made.

"We at the IKN Authority together with other teams are happy, we are supported by the integration of the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Investment, ATR/BPN, and others are ready to serve ladies and gentlemen if there are things that may be sharpened or need information data," he said.

In the future, Bambang hopes that more potential investors will be interested in the development of IKN Nusantara.
