Maintain Cemerlang Performance, Bank DKI Achieves Top BUMD 2023

JAKARTA - Successfully book a brilliant financial performance report card during the economic period full of challenges, Bank DKI won the Infobank Top BUMD 2023 award as one of the BUMDs in the financial sector with the title 'Excellent'.

The award ceremony was held at an event titled Infobank Top BUMD 2023 in Yogyakarta on Thursday 11 May. Also attending to witness awards were the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, Governor of Yogyakarta, Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwana X, Governor of West Kalimantan, Sutarmidji, Head of PPATK, Ivan Yustiavandana, Chief Executive of OJK Banking Supervision, Dian Ediana Rae, Chairman of Asbanda, Supriyatno and a number of other officials.

Through a written statement from the President Director of Bank DKI, Fidri Arnaldy said that the award received was a very valuable appreciation for the success of all DKI Bank Management and all workers, who managed to improve their fast-growing financial performance while remaining prudent and healthy, as well as being able to prove that they continued to grow positively during challenging economic conditions.

"This award is also an acknowledgment of Bank DKI's commitment to developing digital-based product and service innovations, along with the focus on the transformation implemented by the Company," said Fidri, in his statement, Friday, May 12.

Although the economy has not fully recovered, under the leadership of the President Director of Bank DKI, Fidri Arnaldy, the Company was able to close 2022 with excellent performance achievements by recording the highest net profit in the history of the Company's establishment of IDR 939.11 billion or grew 29.11 percent.

Total assets grew to IDR 78.88 trillion, supported by credit growth of 23.53 percent and DPK growth of 12.82 percent in December 2022.

"Together with the momentum of economic growth, Bank DKI focuses on a strong expansion strategy including synergy and collaboration with various parties as a commitment to encourage national economic recovery," added Fidri.

For information, awards are given by Infobank Magazine based on BPD, BPR, and BPRS ratings conducted by the Infobank Research Bureau on financial performance in 2021 and 2022 (as of September). Some of the assessment criteria used by the Infobank Research Bureau to measure the performance of BUMD include aspects of efficiency and growth, in addition to assessing the risk profile aspect, good corporate governance (GCG), profitability, and capital. Based on the assessment of the title The Best is given to a number of financial BUMDs consisting of 16 BPD, 41 BPR, and 9 BPRS.

Meanwhile, in his remarks, the Chairman of Infobank Media Group, Eko B. Supriyanto, digital brand research was carried out to increase our awareness regarding new branding strategies that need to be carried out in the digital era.

"We appreciate BUMD, both BPD, BPR, and BPRS belonging to the local government, which have still succeeded in making their best performance amid the economic slowdown after the COVID-19 pandemic and global economic pressure," said Eko.

Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi explained that during the post-COVID-19 pandemic period 2021-2022 for Bank DKI, it was indeed a challenging year.

"Together with post-pandemic momentum, Bank DKI reorganizes various things of the foundation by implementing transformation programs in various fields, ranging from human capital, digital technology, sharpening the funding and lending business lines, as well as the formation of ecosystems, all of which are trapped by the implementation of GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance)," Arie added.

Arie further added that in the future Bank DKI will continue to improve and sharpen various more tangible work programs so that they can grow sustainably and can meet the expectations of all Stakeholders.
