Eight Teams Qualify For The Quarter-Finals Of The 2023 U-17 World Cup

JAKARTA The last 16 of the 2023 U-17 World Cup has been completed. The fight for the title in this biennial event is getting more interesting.

The duel between France U-17 and Senegal U-17 at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS), Jakarta, Wednesday, November 22, 2023, was the closing of the round of 16.

France U-17 became the eighth team to win tickets to the quarter-finals after winning in the shootout drama with a score of 5-3. The fate of both teams was determined by high-five after playing goalless for 90 minutes.

The top eight teams have brought together their favorite teams. Just look at the big match full of rivalry between Brazil U-17 and Argentina U-17 which was held at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) on Friday, November 24, 2023.

Then, there was a German U-17 encounter against Spain U-17 at JIS on the same day.

Two other matches present black horse teams that could surprisingly beat the giants or win convincingly in the last 16.

There is Uzbekistan U-17 which has just buried England U-17. They will meet France U-17 at Manahan Stadium on November 25, 23. Then, Mali U-17 will face Morocco U-17 as well at Manahan Stadium on the same day.
