Official Price Of Cadillac Celestiq Revealed, More Than IDR 5 Billion

JAKARTA - In October 2022, Cadillac introduced an electric luxury car called Cadillac Celestiq. This car is specifically targeted for the upper class who want electric vehicles in a luxurious style.

With an elegant concept, Cadillac dares to set a high price for the Celestiq. This manufacturer based in Detroit, USA, initially estimated the price of this electric sedan to reach more than 300,000 US dollars or around Rp. 4.5 billion.

However, Cadillac recently announced the official price for the Celestiq. This announcement came from Melissa totaling, head of the Cadillac Global Marketing, via uploads on LinkedIn.

"The client who started this order trip can personalize their Celestiq and make it a true reflection of their unbounded personality," wrote kolis in the post quoted from InsideEVs, Jum'at, August 4.

He revealed that the initial price for the Celestiq will start at US$340,000 or around Rp. 5.1 billion.

However, keep in mind that this price does not include personalization options that can be added by customers as well as other shipping costs. So that the total price for this sedan can be higher.

men also revealed that the demand for the Celestiq is very high, that's why this high price can be considered. He emphasized that buyers can personalize the Celestiq according to their personalities.

"Customers will have the opportunity to work with the world's best designers to present their vision with high precision," wrote korot in the post.

The Cadillac Celestiq assembly process will be carried out manually or hand-constructed at the GM Global Technical Center facility in Michigan, USA, and the first production will begin there. However, no definite information has yet been provided about the delivery date.

Cadillac is one of several premium brands committed to fully switching to electric cars by 2030, following similar steps from Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Rolls-Royce, and GM Buick.
