Disguised By Rice Paper, 23 Packages Of Marijuana And 2 Dealers Arrested By Police
MeULABOH - Personnel from the West Aceh Police Narcotics Investigation Unit secured at least 23 packages of dried marijuana along with two dealers, in separate arrests made in Ujung Simpang Village, Arongan Lambalek District, West Aceh Regency.
"Currently, we have detained the two suspects for further development," said Head of Narcotics Unit AKP Erwo Guntoro, quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, August 2.
There are also suspects who have now been arrested, each with the initials AH, (43 years), a resident of Ujung Simpang Village, Arongan Lambalek District, West Aceh Regency.

AKP Erwo Guntoro explained the arrests of the two suspects after the police received information related to narcotics transactions in Arongan Lambalek District, West Aceh Regency.
The officers then carried out surveillance and arrested a resident with the initials AH, a resident of Ujung Simpang Village, Arongan Lambalek District, West Aceh Regency.
From the suspect's hands, the police secured evidence in the form of 23 packs of marijuana.
The evidence of marijuana was found in the vicinity of the suspect's house, which was packaged and wrapped in rice package paper, with a gross weight of about 900 grams.
To the police, suspect AH admitted that he received the marijuana type narcotics from a man with the initials FAR (23 years old), a resident of Pelulantau Village, Arongan Lambalek District, West Aceh Regency for two kilograms for Rp. 2.6 million.
The police then rushed to arrest the suspect FAR at his home, and helped secure a smartphone unit suspected of being a means to carry out marijuana transactions.

The police also secured Rp1.3 million in cash, the remaining proceeds from selling marijuana to AH.
AKP Erwo Guntoro explained that the two suspects, AH and FAR, were suspected of violating Article 114 paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 111 paragraph (1) of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics, with a penalty of five to 20 years in prison.
