The End Of The Escape Of The Ex-wife Killer In Lampung After Viral Video Of The Victim's Child Asking For Help

BANDAR LAMPUNG - Central Lampung Resort Police (Polres) arrested RP, the perpetrator of the murder of his ex-wife, after the person concerned was on the wanted list (DPO) in 2015.

"The pursuit of the perpetrator has been RP since 8 years ago or since 2015 after the stabbing of the SUS victim who is his ex-wife," said Central Lampung Police Chief AKBP Doffie Fahlevi Sanjayadilansir ANTARA, Saturday, July 29.

He explained that the pursuit of the perpetrator was a little difficult because he often changed his identity on his escape.

In fact, to trick the police, the perpetrators of the RP also made new ID cards several times with different names and addresses of origin.

"Members have tried to ambush several times. However, the perpetrators always move and make ID cards with their age become younger, the address as long as they are not from Lampung," he said.

Deputy Director of General Crimes (Dirkrimum) of the Lampung Regional Police AKBP Hamid Andri Soemantri said that the RP perpetrators had been on the wanted list (DPO) since 2015.

"It's true, it has entered the DPO with the number DPO/04/VI/2015 as of June 24, 2015," he said.

In April 2023, he said, the whereabouts of the perpetrators were known to live in West Kalimantan. This is known based on the results of coordination with the Sekayam Police, Sanggau Police, West Kalimantan which stated that the perpetrator was right there.

"The perpetrator was later arrested without a fight by the police. Then he was flown to the Central Lampung Police," he said.

It is known that RP killed his ex-wife with the initials SUS and witnessed by her two children. The incident occurred in 2015.

After committing the murder, RP fled until his son, ARP (11) and SAN (9) were taken care of by his grandmother.

The murder of her ex-wife by her husband in Central Lampung Regency was motivated by emotions because the perpetrator was offended by the victim's words. This case went viral after the two children of the victims ARP and SAN made videos and asked President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to arrest their father with the initials RP.
