Regarding Ganjar's Vice Presidential Candidate, PDIP: Names That Appear Can't Be Separated From Surveys

Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto said the candidate for vice president (cawapres) to accompany Ganjar Pranowo could not be separated from the survey results. However, later the final decision will be conveyed by PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri after discussing with other supporting parties.

"The names that have emerged cannot be separated from the various objective surveys that have emerged recently," Hasto told reporters while in Jambi, Saturday, July 29.

Hasto ensured that whoever was chosen would unite with Ganjar. They will make rapid progress for Greater Indonesia.

Furthermore, Hasto said that consolidation will continue to be carried out to win Ganjar and PDIP. In addition, they will also establish communication for political cooperation.

One of them, said Hasto, was with the Golkar Party. According to him, intense communication has been carried out in the hope that cooperation in the era of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) administration can continue to be established.

Moreover, PDIP DPP chairman Puan Maharani met with Golkar Party Chairman Airlangga Hartarto on Thursday, July 27 yesterday.

"It is hoped that through the meeting between Mas Airlangga and Mbak Puan Maharani, an understanding has been built for the cooperation of the two political parties, which have a good record of cooperation during Pak Jokowi's administration," concluded Hasto.
