North Lombok Regent Doesn't Think The Company Rejects The Installation Of Fire Hidran In Gili Trawangan
North Lombok Regent Djohan Sjamsu regretted the attitude of the water management company in Gili Trawangan which rejected the plan to install hydrant pipes intended for firefighters in the mainstay tourist destination of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).
"Yes, I regret that the installation of hydrants was rejected," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, July 26.
Djohan admitted that he could not understand that there was a rejection of the installation of the hydrant pipe. Because, according to him, the installation of hydrant pipes is intended for the public interest.
"This is a matter of the public interest. Hidran is not used every day but under certain circumstances such as a fire," he said.
Related to this, Djohan Sjamsu emphasized that he would immediately summon the company's management to ask for clarification on the rejection.
"I will call him (the company, ed). Do not let him have a business in Gili and then the public interest related to the fire is not provided with hydrant facilities," the head of the Regent of North Lombok.
According to him, the company is trusted in Gili Trawangan as the party granted permission by the local government to manage water in the NTB mainstay destination.
"Therefore (hidran, ed) is not used every day so that there is no business there and then the public interest is not used," he said.
