Here's What Mitsubishi All-New Triton Looks Like With A Tough Body

JAKARTA - After a long wait, Mitsubishi Motors officially launched its newest pickup, All-New Triton. This is the first time the latest-generation Triton has come after more than a decade ago.

The pickup, which will be known as L200, carries the design of the concept, XRT Concept. Not only does it look different from the previous generation, this pickup was developed using a ladder frame chassis.

Having increased stiffness of up to 60 percent, All-New Triton will be available in dual cabin body models, club cabins, and single cabins.

The President and CEO of Mitsubishi Motors, Takao Kato, added that All-New Triton has a more powerful four-wheel drive engine that helps stabilize car speed.

"All-New Triton is a very important model that will provide basic support for Mitsubishi Motors, as well as the first global strategic vehicle launched at the start of our growth phase," Kato said in his official statement, Wednesday, July 26.

As previously leaked, this Japanese manufacturer guarantees that cars have a high level of resilience including presenting the latest double wishbone front suspensions and rear suspensions that provide good driving performance.

Not only tough in chassis and suspension, but L200 All-New Triton also has a strong engine. The machine has a capacity of 2.4 liters of turbo diesel which offers a strength of 148 dk and a torque of 330 Nm, 181 dk and a torque of 430 Nm, as well as a more powerful power of 201 dk and a torque of 470 Nm.

To provide customers with options, Mitsubishi offers some color options for All-New Triton, namely Yamawi Orange Metallic, Blade Silver Metallic, White Diamond, Solid White, Jet Black Mica, and Graphite Gray Metallic.

Thanks to a survey of customers conducted by Mitsubishi, All-New Triton is a formidable and reliable vehicle on various terrains.

Rival dari Ford Ranger Raptor tersebut telah dijual di Thailand, wilayah ASEAN dan Oceania menyusul penjualannya. Sedangkan di rumahnya sendiri, Jepang, L200 akan dijual mulai awal 2024 mendatang.

After launch, All-New Triton will participate in the Asia Rally Cross Country Rally 2023 with the factory racing division team, Team Ralliart, which will develop this car in the rally competition.
