BPKH Wins WTP Predicate For 5 Years In A Row
JAKARTA - The Hajj Financial Management Agency (BPKH) has again won the title of Unqualified (WTP) on the 2022 BPKH financial statements examined by the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK).
This WTP opinion was received by BPKH for five consecutive years from the 2018 to 2022 financial statements.
Head of the BPKH Implementing Agency Fadlul Imansyah stated that BPKH Opini WTP on BPKH financial statements is very important as proof of accountability in the management of hajj funds.
"WTP opinion is also proof that hajj funds have been managed professionally, carefully, transparently and accountably. In addition, this fifth WTP opinion shows that the management of Hajj funds is safe and liquid in accordance with applicable laws and regulations," said Fadlul, Tuesday, July 25.
In detail, BPKH's financial statements consist of balance sheets, operational reports, cash flow reports, reports of changes to net assets, and reports of budget realization.
The value of the hajj funds managed by BPKH until December 2022 has increased by 4.88 percent or to Rp166.54 trillion compared to 2021 with a value of Rp158.79 trillion.
Then in terms of the value of benefits, BPKH has recorded a benefit value of IDR 10.18 trillion in 2022.
"This value has exceeded the target value of benefits set in 2022, which is Rp9.07 trillion with an achievement of 112.26 percent. The value of this benefit will be used to support the implementation of the pilgrimage and distribution of virtual accounts for waiting pilgrims," he explained.

Fadlul explained that the safe hajj funds managed by BPKH can be seen from the solvency ratio and the mandatory liquidity ratio.
In reality, the solvency ratio of BPKH from 2021 to 2022 increased from 100.34 percent to 100.76 percent.
Meanwhile, the liquidity ratio must be maintained in 2022 at 2.22x BPIH. This means that BPKH has prepared funds for the implementation of Hajj exceeding 2 times the implementation of Hajj.
"The BPKH operating report in 2022 recorded a surplus of IDR 3.4 trillion and no investment lost. BPKH has also disbursed IDR 2 trillion in virtual accounts for delayed pilgrims and waiting congregations," he added.
