Shocked Family After Knowing Bobby Joseph Was Again Entangled In Drug Cases

JAKARTA - Bobby Joseph, who was caught in a drug abuse case in 2021, was again entangled for the second time. He was arrested by the South Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Unit on Friday, July 21.

Head of the South Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Investigation Unit, Kompol Achmad Ardhy, said that his family had visited Bobby Joseph, who was currently in detention.

"The family (came to visit Bobby Joseph)," said Achmad Ardhy at the South Jakarta Metro Police on Tuesday, July 25.

Achmad Ardhy said there was no presence of Bobby Joseph's ex-wife, Ayuningtyas Indrastuti, to visit so far. Only Bobby Joseph's parents are known to have visited.

"Now BJ doesn't have a wife, so only parents (who come to visit)," he said.

It was also mentioned that Bobby Joseph's parents were shocked after learning about the arrest of the second child with a similar case like the one that happened in 2021.

"Yes, the family is still in shock, it's normal," said Achmad Ardhy.

Bobby Joseph himself looks very guilty after the second arrest. In front of the media crew, he apologized to his family.

"I want to express my apologies, especially for my family and also the people out there," said Bobby.

Bobby also appealed to people he knew or not to stay away from drugs. He also promised that similar incidents would not occur in the future.

"I urge other friends, both those I know and those I don't know, to stay away from drugs. Never touch because it is very difficult to get out of here. I want to apologize and I promise not to do it again," concluded Bobby Joseph.
