Puan Names 5 Candidates For Ganjar, One Of Them Is Sandiaga
The chairman of the PDI-P DPP, Puan Maharani, said that there were five names as candidates for vice president for Ganjar Pranowo.
"Now it has narrowed five names, one of which is Cak Imin," said Puan after attending the peak of the PKB 25th Birthday celebration (Harlah) at Manahan Stadium Solo, quoted by ANTARA, Sunday, July 23.
Puan mentioned the five names, namely Sandiaga Salahudin Uno, Erick Thohir, Andika Perkasa, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, and Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin).
"In the past there were 10 names, now they have narrowed to five names," he said.
When asked how close Muhaimin Iskandar and PDIP were to Ganjar Pranowo, Puan also asked about the closeness directly with Cak Imin.
"Is PKB close to PDIP?" asked Puan to Muhaimin.
Cak Imin also joked that their closeness was not just close.
"Nempel, bukan hanya dekat, nempel," jawab Cak Imin.
Ganjar Pranowo is a presidential candidate promoted by the PDI-P and the United Development Party (PPP).
Meanwhile, the National Awakening Party (PKB) together with the Gerindra Party formed the Greater Indonesia Awakening Coalition (KKIR), which carried Prabowo Subianto as a presidential reading.
Based on the schedule set by the General Elections Commission (KPU), the registration of prospective presidential and vice presidential candidates for the 2024 General Election is scheduled to start from October 19 to November 25, 2023.
