Sarmuji Calls On Golkar Cadres To Unite And Be Patient, New National Conference Doors Open In 2024

Muhamamad Sarmuji, Chairman of the East Java Golkar Party DPD, called on all Golkar Party cadres to remain patient and united in order to win the 2024 election. In his view, this is a crucial period for the Golkar Party to close ranks and unite the party's vision and mission.

Sarmuji invites all Golkar Party cadres to commit to advancing the party and looking for the best solution to face increasingly complex political challenges. He emphasized the importance of unity and integrity within the party, believing that by staying together and working hard, the Golkar Party will be able to gain support from the community and win elections in 2024.

Responding to the issue of the Munaslub (Extraordinary National Conference), Sarmuji explained that currently none of the Golkar Party DPDs in Indonesia proposed the Munaslub. The requirement to hold the Munaslub is proposed by the Provincial DPD two-thirds, and because there is no such proposal, the door for the Munaslub is not open at this time. However, he emphasized that the new Munas door will be open in 2024.

"My advice is for all those who want to contribute to the party, to sit down together to find a way out of how Golkar can rise to victory in the 2024 election," said Sarmuji.

Sarmuji stated that all Golkar cadres must now unite and work together to build a party. He emphasized the importance of focusing on real work that can increase the electability of the Golkar Party rather than holding a Munaslub. All parties are expected to hold back the desire for personal interests and focus on common interests.

"Let's focus on real work that can increase the electability of the Golkar Party," he added.

Sarmuji also appreciated the wishes of cadres who wanted to contribute more deeply to the party, especially those who wanted to take part as General Chair. However, he hopes that all parties can convey constructive aspirations and ideas wisely, so that differences of opinion can become a strength to advance the party, not to damage each other.

He stated that competition in the party was not a negative thing, but must be directed towards a positive and productive direction. All Golkar Party cadres are asked to convey their aspirations wisely in order to develop the Golkar Party for the better.

"If we have different opinions, let's say it wisely. Make that difference a strength to advance the party, not to damage each other," he explained.

Sarmuji ended his call by expressing optimism and confidence that the Golkar Party was able to rise and win in the 2024 election, as long as all cadres together fought with a spirit of togetherness and sincerity. With cooperation and dedication, the Golkar Party is believed to be able to achieve common goals and achieve success in the upcoming democratic party
