Residents' Houses In Cengkareng, West Jakarta Burnt, No Casualties
As many as 70 officers from the West Jakarta Fire and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-dept. extinguished a house fire on Duri Kosambi Street, Bok Haji Amsir No.13, RT 01/RW 07, Duri Kosambi, Cengkareng, West Jakarta, Saturday night, July 22.
Head of the Operations Section of the West Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Syarifudin, said that his party received the fire news at 20.37 WIB from a West Cengkareng Gulkarmat officer Sri Hartanto.
"Our fire team consisting of 14 fire engines and 70 firefighters arrived at the location at 20.50 WIB and the fire was extinguished at 21.45 WIB," said Syarifudin in his statement, Saturday, July 22.
He said that initially a witness named Iman (36) admitted to hearing the sound of sparks and then a large fire broke out.

"Then the fire devoured two residential buildings," said Syarif.
He said that there were two families with nine people affected in the fire and so far it is not known whether or not there were casualties in the fire.
"The fire of the two residential buildings occurred in an area of about 200 square meters with a loss of around Rp. 700 million," he said.
