Jonway YY800-2, Classic Cruiser Motorcycle Using 800cc Machine

Chinese brands have also been bustling in European markets such as CFMoto, QJ Motor, and Loncin, along with high demand for motorbikes with small to medium capacity at a more affordable price.

Most recently there is Jonway, a Chinese company known as a cruise bike in the category of small to medium capacity. Quoted from Rideapart, July 16, Jonway's design is thick imitating the Harley-Davidson and Indian models. Their latest offer, YY800-2, is clearly inspired by the iconic Indian Scout Bobber model.

With a low posture, YY800-2 brings a relaxed and relaxed impression. The height of the seating is only 690 millimeters, making it easily accessible to various ranges of motorists, guaranteeing convenience for everyone. In addition, this motorcycle is equipped with a high handle-hanger handlebar, giving a custom-like appearance. However, in terms of performance, YY800-2 is different from Indian Scout Bobber because it uses a smaller engine. Scout Bobber has a 69 cubic-inch (1,113cc) V-twin engine while YY800-2 is equipped with a 800cc V-twin engine that produces a power of 61 dk and a 61 Nm torque. Motorpower is channeled to the rear wheels via manual transmission of six accelerations.

The motorcycle has a 16-inch wheeled rim, combined with white tires around which adds to the vintage impression. To provide driving convenience, YY800-2 is equipped with an overturned front fork and a pair of rear suspension security guards.

YY800-2 has an aluminum framework that aims to reduce weight, although it still weighs about 230 kg. With adequate performance and charming aesthetics, Jonway YY800-2 has just been released for the Chinese market for 43,990 yuan, which is around Rp92.5 million.
