The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Has Revealed That Many Business Actors Are Involved In Corruption Cases, The Mode Of Giving Bribery
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) reminds of the important role of all parties, including entrepreneurs in eradicating corruption. The reason is that many of them are trapped in fraudulent practices by giving money to officials.
"Private parties or the business world are the parties involved in corruption cases with the most frequent modes, namely gratification and bribery," said Head of the Family Task Force with Integrity and the Anti-Corruption Business World of the KPK Community Empowerment Directorate David Sepriwasa in a written statement, Friday, July 14.
This statement was not made carelessly. David has data on the practice of gratification and bribery often carried out by businessmen who are caught in cases until the end of 2022.
So, he advised entrepreneurs anywhere including Banten Province to play an active role. "Through education strategies, we want to change people's intentions so that they don't want corruption anymore by instilling anti-corruption values to all elements of society," he said.
Meanwhile, the Coordinator of the Anti-Corruption Business World Program of the KPK Permas Directorar, Qilda Fathiyah, said that the corruption carried out by entrepreneurs could have a negative effect on the community. This reason makes the anti-corruption commission present and hold Technical Guidance (Bimtek) for the Empowerment of the Anti-Corruption Business World in Banten.
