Returning From Pencak Silat Training, 3 Teenagers Attacked By Gangs Of Youths Bercelurit To Fall In Selokan
SALATIGA As many as five people were injured as a result of being attacked by a group of teenagers armed with sickles on the South Ring Road (JLS), Salatiga, Central Java. The victims were seriously injured by the perpetrators' brutal actions. Until now, the victim is still undergoing treatment at the hospital.
Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Salatiga Police, AKP M Arifin, explained that the attack took place on Friday morning, July 7, at around 02.30 WIB. The incident began when the group of perpetrators riding 6 motorbikes across JLS, precisely under Taman Bendosari Salatiga.
Arifin said, at that time they met 3 young men with one motorbike ( Riding three) who were about to go home after pencak silat training. Thinking the three young men were the opposing group, the perpetrators grabbed the victim's motorbike and fell into a ditch.
The victim, Irvan (21), a Boyolali resident fell into a ditch, and was hit by a motorbike and injured in the leg. Victim Zidane (18), a resident of Gamol Kecandran, fell to the street and received stab wounds from a sharp weapon to the stomach. Meanwhile, victim Aria (18), a resident of Kutowinangun Kidul, fell next to a ditch. Aria suffered a collision on his head and is still being treated at Elizabeth Semarang Hospital. Arifin explained in a written statement, Tuesday, July 11.
In short, the Salatiga Police Criminal Investigation Unit who received the report immediately searched the perpetrators. After an investigation, the officers managed to secure 3 perpetrators. Arifin also explained the role of the three perpetrators when the attack occurred.
The perpetrator named Gabriel Tri, a resident of Gladagsari Boyolali who played a role in brandishing a sharp weapon of sickle type towards 3 victims. One minor actor played a role in riding a motorcycle ( Riding Gabriel) and grabbed the victim and fell into a ditch. As well as one perpetrator named Dewa (18), a resident of Bener Tengaran, Semarang Regency, played a role in mobilizing his group to grab the victim and fall. "said Arifin.

The police also managed to secure evidence of crimes committed by the perpetrators.
"From Gabriel's hands, a sickle blades were confiscated made of 70 cm long wooden stainless iron. The articles suspected of both of them were Article 170 of the Criminal Code concerning beatings with a threat of 7 years in prison and or the Emergency Law No. 12 of 1951 with a penalty of 10 years in prison. As for child perpetrators, later the investigation will be handled by the PPA unit," said Arifin.
It is known that the Salatiga Police are still searching for other perpetrators who fled.
