Semester I-2023 Tax Revenue Is 56.6 Percent Worth IDR 970 Trillion
JAKARTA Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani revealed that until the first semester of 2023 the total tax revenues had reached Rp970.2 trillion. According to her, this amount is equivalent to 56.5 percent of this year's APBN ceiling which charges Rp1,718 trillion.
"In two consecutive years, tax revenues are very high," he said on Monday, July 10.
Meanwhile, this achievement is supported by an increase in commodity prices and also the national economic recovery which continues to strengthen. However, the Minister of Finance reminded that tax growth had entered a moderate phase in line with price normalization.
This can be seen from the first semester of 2023 tax growth of 9.9 percent year on year (yoy), lower than the first semester of 2022 with 58.2 percent.
