Ahead Of The Gerindra Cadre Democracy Party, Prabowo Said
JAKARTA - Gerindra Party Chairman Prabowo Subianto invited his cadres to maintain and maintain national unity and integrity.
"I emphasize that the Gerindra Party must always invite harmony of unity, respect all parties, should not be provoked, and must not spread suspicion or hatred," Prabowo said quoting Antara, Sunday, July 9.
This consolidation, said Prabowo, is a means to strengthen the unity and integrity of the community. Therefore, so far, his party has fully supported the democratic system that maintains the integrity and harmony of religious communities.
To maintain the unity of this nation, he continued, all parties must not be offended quickly, especially by prioritizing self-respect and personal interests.
"We have to make a democratic party full of friendship and family democracy because Pancasila democracy is distinctive, we must not make a fuss," he added.
Previously, it was known that the Gerindra Party held grand consolidation activities at four Jabodetabek points which were held simultaneously.
The four regions that held the grand consolidation were in Depok City, Bekasi City, and Tangerang Regency and City.
Prabowo during a visit to Tangerang took the time to mingle to meet thousands of cadres to greet and convey the spirit of unity.
"I think it's something that must be considered. So, we still have a program, have confidence to go directly to the midst of society, raise understanding and enthusiasm," said Prabowo, who is also a presidential candidate from the Gerindra Party.

Based on Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning Elections (UU Pemilu), pairs of presidential/vice-presidential candidates are proposed by political parties or coalitions of political parties participating in the election who meet the requirements for obtaining seats of at least 20 percent of the total seats in the DPR or obtaining 25 percent of the nationally valid votes in the previous election for members of the DPR.
Currently, there are 575 seats in parliament so that the presidential/vice-presidential candidate pair in the 2024 presidential election must have at least 115 seats in the DPR RI. It could also be that the candidate pairs are promoted by political parties or a combination of political parties participating in the 2019 Election with a total valid vote acquisition of at least 34,992,703 votes.
