SURABAYA - Immigration Officer Tanjung Perak Surabaya arrested a foreign citizen (WNA) from Malaysia with the initials HBR because he was often drunk and disturbing the residents of Modo, Lamongan, East Java.

The day after, he said, the Immigration Intelligence and Enforcement Team (Inteljakim) Tanjung Perak Immigration went to the location and collaborated with elements of the Lamongan Regency foreign surveillance team (Timpora) such as the Modo Police, Modo Koramil and Modo Village Government Members.
"Based on the confession of the head of the local RT, the foreigner lived in the hamlet for approximately a year and a half. Precisely since January 2022 he has lived with his wife with the initials S," he said.
This foreigner while living in the place was often drunk and screaming so that it disturbed and disturbed local residents.
Head of Immigration Tanjung Perak Verico Sandi said immigration officers also met with AP as the guarantor. AP is the younger brother of S.

It doesn't stop there, he said, after an examination of the immigration documents belonging to the person concerned, it was found that the foreigner's residence permit was a visit visa on arrival or on-arrival visa that was valid for 30 days.
"During the examination, the residence permit has expired since June 30, 2022," he said.
After the Investigation Report was carried out, continued Verico, HBR had stayed in Indonesia exceeding the time limit for his residence permit for 369 days and the existence of HBR disrupted public order.
"HBR violates Article 78 paragraph (3) of Law Number 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration, so that it is subject to Immigration Administration Action in the form of repatriation or deportation," said Verico.
While waiting for the deportation process, said Verico, HBR will be placed in the Tanjung Perak Immigration Office Deteni Room.
"The plan is that HBR will be deported through Juanda Airport, we are waiting for the return ticket which is currently still being prepared by the family," he said.
