2 Days Of Lombok MXGP Production 2 Tons Of Garbage, DLH Mataram Completes Cleaning Today
NTB - The Mataram City Environment Agency (DLH) targets the handling of waste in the Selaparang MXGP Circuit area, finished today, Monday, July 3.
Head of the Garbage Division of the Mataram City DLH, Vidi Partisan, Yuris Gamanjaya, said the effort was made to keep the area clean and tidy.
"Today we finished cleaning up the circuit area because last night there was also a concert", he said in Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province, Monday, July 3, which was confiscated by Antara.
According to him, the volume of waste during the two days of the implementation of the Lombok MXGP 1-2 July 2023, is almost 2 tons. With details, 540 kilograms of plastic waste and organic waste are more than 1.3 tons.
"We haven't counted those today, because cleaning is still being carried out. The garbage at the MXGP Circuit has been sorted by the organizers", he said.
It is said that the handling of waste in the circuit area is carried out with volunteers. Mataram City has prepared garbage transport officers and 4 dump trucks to transport garbage in the morning and evening.
"Alhamdulillah, the handling of waste at the circuit has so far been handled properly", he said.

Secretary of the Mataram City DLH Irwansyah previously said that the handling of MXGP waste involved the Mataram City DLH, together with the NTB Province DLH, and volunteers from the environmental care community.
"The assistance from these volunteers certainly maximizes the handling of waste at the MXGP event location. For Mataram officers, we will deploy 150 people", he said.
He said the mechanism for handling waste in MXGP had been determined. Officers set up temporary waste collection sites (TPS) not far from the activity location. Garbage that is carried and processed at the TPS.
