KASN: ASN In Regions Potentially Violating Election Neutrality
BENGKULU - The State Civil Apparatus Commission (KASN) said that state civil servants (ASN) in areas are more vulnerable and have the potential to violate neutrality during elections and elections.
"The potential (neutral violation) is very high in politics, people (definitely) want to link, drag ASN (partially providing and expressing support in elections)," said Assistant Commissioner of the State Civil Apparatus Commission (KASN) for Supervision of Basic Values, Code of Ethics, ASN Code of Conduct and Netrality Rolly Rochmad Purnomo as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, June 27.
The state civil apparatus, he said, is a figure who is considered quite good human resources in the community, such conditions have the potential to be used by election participants to get support from the community as voters.
"ASN has quite good resources in the community, especially in the regions, ASN is seen as a prestigious position, with the support of ASN, individuals think they can dig up a lot of people's voices," he said.
Even though ASN in areas are prone to practical political traps and "trials", KASN still asks ASN to always be in principle, professional, neutral and with integrity.
"What we hope is that ASN will not be tempted to participate in practical politics, so that the competition will run neutrally," said Rolly.

He said ASN should not express their political preferences in public spaces, in conversations, meetings, or in social media spaces.
"Please express it at the ballot booth, no one should know what your political preferences are, if you are not neutral, there are many penalties waiting, depending on the violation there are light ones up to PTDH, disrespectful dismissal," he said.
