Governor Edy Removes Director Of Drinking Water PDAM Tirtanadi North Sumatra
North Sumatra Governor Edy Rahmayadi removed the Director of Drinking Water for the Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM) Tirtanadi North Sumatra Harun Al Rasyid from his position because his performance was considered unfavorable.
"Back to performance, that's my younger brother, my classmate. Very close to me, almost every time I play at my house. However, the size is not close or not close, the size is performance," said Governor Edy in Medan as reported by ANTARA, Monday, June 26.
Before being removed, Harun had already been evaluated until he was asked to improve his performance. However, Edy was reluctant to reveal about the poor performance because it was a disgrace from Harun and not for public consumption.
"I can't open people's disgrace, it's like this performance, like this, call, it's not clear. I reached the second rank level, I didn't call directly, I was the director, he had a director," said Edy Rahmayadi.
Gubsu Edy said that until now his party had not appointed a replacement for Harun.
According to him, currently, North Sumatra's Tirtanadi PDAM is not suitable for discussing water quality because in terms of quantity it has not been fulfilled.

"So there is still less than 3,500 liters per second. Not to mention this water leak is still empty. The calculation is, not all, yes I can't fulfill it. Why is he, whether the pipe leaks or leaks, so those two things are very close to influencing," he said.
Governor Edy encouraged North Sumatra's Tirtanadi PDAM to continue to improve the services of the North Sumatra BUMD company by increasing the quantity of water distributed to customers.
"I promise. From the 2024 work concept, quantity is achieved, then water quality, I apologize. That's quality, not quantity, I'm still chasing quantity, if it's lacking, we're less. But, this is a work stage," said Edy Rahmayadi.
