JAKARTA - Heavy rain had flushed the area of the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK) Senayan Jakarta ahead of the match between the Indonesian national team and Argentina. PSSI Executive Committee member, Arya Sinulingga, hopes that the rain can provide benefits for the Garuda Squad.

The rain has continued to pour in the Senayan area, Jakarta, since noon. However, Arya has confidence that the rain will stop during the match.

"It's impossible for the rain to continue for five hours and it will definitely stop," said Arya Sinulingga on Monday, June 19.

"It will be good after the rain, how would you know that Argentina's (players) have been set as an opportunity for us," he said.

"Hopefully, it's rare abroad to rain. Hopefully this is an advantage for us. How would they know they want to kick, slip," he continued jokingly.

When asked about the rain handler, Arya explained that PSSI did not provide this.

"It's not (waving rain), the main thing is maybe nature is supportive, it rains before the match. Hopefully the conditions will be good later. We hope that at 4-5 the rain will be over and the audience will enter the stadium, everyone is safe," he said.
