JAKARTA - Agriculture Minister Syahrul Yasin Limpo admitted that he had explained all the things he knew to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigators. He became the examinee today, Monday, June 19."I have finished all of that with what I can answer," Syahrul told reporters at the C1 KPK Building, Rasuna Said, South Jakarta.He did not specify the investigation. Including the issue of extortion of officials as well as the alleged receipt of money at the Ministry of Agriculture."I've answered. I've answered above," he said.The NasDem politician later stated that he was ready to cooperate if he would be questioned again regarding allegations of corruption at the Ministry of Agriculture. Moreover, investigators have worked according to standard operating procedures (SOP)."I have been examined professionally, I thank you and I will continue to cooperate whenever needed I am ready to attend," he said.Previously, the KPK confirmed the investigation into alleged corruption at the Ministry of Agriculture. This was in response to the circulating news that the Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo along with two of his subordinates, KSD and HTA were also involved in allegations of corruption.This action was carried out since early January. Dozens of people have been questioned, such as officials and state civil servants (ASN) at the ministry.As for Syahrul's summons, he was going to be questioned on Friday, June 16. However, politicians reasoned that they had to go to India so they asked for a postponement of the examination until June 27.
However, the KPK continued to call him on Monday, June 19. The reason is that investigators want to ask for information to be analyzed with other examined parties so that criminal incidents can be quickly found.
