Wakapolri Pastikan Kasus Anggota Brimob 'Dipalak' Kompol Petrus Ditangani Propam

PEKANBARU - Deputy Chief of Police, Komjen Gatot Eddy Pramono, admitted that he had received a report regarding the viral case of the confession of Brimob member Bripka Andry Darma Irawan who deposited Rp650 million to his commander, Kompol Petrus Hottiner Simamora.

"It has been handled. Already in Propam, now the trial will be processed," said Komjen Gatot in Pekanbaru as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, June 8.

Komjen Gatot stated that all relevant parties had also been questioned regarding this issue. The Deputy Chief of Police ensures that the process of handling the case continues.

"Yes, we have been asked for information. The Kapolda reported to me, everything has been investigated, of course through Propam. Later of course there will be a process from the code of ethics trial or other trials," said Gatot.

A police officer named Bripka Andry Wirawan and served in Battalion B Pioneer of the Riau Police Mobile Brigade Unit in Manggala Body Rokan Hilir (Rohil) previously admitted that he was asked to make money by his boss.

Currently, the Riau Police Propam is investigating the case of Bripka Andry's complaint which went viral on social media. In addition, it is known that Commissioner Petrus Hottiner Sima, who is the superior of Bripka Andry, who is suspected of receiving the money deposit, has been removed since March.

"We have examined eight people for clarification regarding the deposit. So the case is being followed up. Regarding this deposit, it is still being investigated, the evidence will be at trial," said the Head of Propam Riau Police, Kombes Pol Johanes Setiawan.
