Invite Political Parties And Volunteers Not To Bully Political Opponents, Ganjar: People Are Bored And Angry

JAKARTA - Candidate for president (candidate) Ganjar Pranowo said political parties and volunteers must campaign in a healthy manner. Do not use tactics that cause division because it contains issues of ethnicity, religion, race, and class.

This was conveyed when he inaugurated the House of Aspirations for Ganjar Pranowo's Victory Volunteers on Jalan Proclamation Number 72, Jakarta on Thursday, June 1.

"We gather here, I really hope it will lead to smart thoughts, great strategies and tactics arise, good dictions arise," said Ganjar in his remarks.

"Not bullying, not hoaxes, not attacking individuals, not SARA, not dividing and I am sure that this room (the aspiration house, ed) can design all of this," continued the Governor of Central Java.

Ganjar reminded that the use of SARA and nation-breaking issues was no longer sold. He said people are tired of this kind of style.

"They are bored, angry, with the very harsh political situation, collisions, let alone carrying the SARA issue. He doesn't want that," he said.

According to him, the public, especially millennials and novice voters, prefer to listen to the program. Ganjar then shared his moment of meeting a social media activist who wanted to express himself and make money.

"Those are the children today who turned out to be when I communicated with them, they had very specific communication, basically one, 'we want to be invited to participate in decision making'," said Ganjar.

Agreeing with Ganjar's statement, PDI-P Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto asked volunteers not to stop fighting. A relaxed campaign approach must be taken.

"Keep fighting. There are no days without movement, no days without soft campaigns for Mr. Ganjar Pranowo," concluded Hasto.
