PPIH Daker Mecca Gathers Providers For Consumption Of Hajj Pilgrims, Reminds Sanctions When Served Late
JAKARTA - The Hajj Organizing Officer (PPIH) of Saudi Arabia, the Working Area of Mecca, gathers providers of consumption of Indonesian pilgrims in Mecca to make the best preparations for serving pilgrims.
"If there is a delay, sanctions will be imposed," said Head of the Hajj Catering Division, Muhammad Agus Syafi', as reported by ANTARA, Monday, May 29.
Agus asked catering providers to be careful in distribution so that food is suitable for consumption when received by pilgrims.
A total of 54 kitchens will supply food for all pilgrims.
"Each kitchen must carefully pay attention to all the rules that have been agreed upon, from menu to food distribution time," said Agus.
During the time in Mecca, Indonesian pilgrims will get three meals. Distribution of morning food from 05.00 a.m. - 08.00 a.m. Saudi Arabia time with a maximum consumption time limit of up to 09.00 p.m. local time.
For lunch, distribution of food from 12.00 a.m. - 14.00 p.m. with a maximum consumption limit of 16.00 p.m. local time. Meanwhile, for dinner, distribution is carried out from 17.00 p.m. - 19.00 p.m. local time with a maximum consumption limit of one hour later.

"We will routinely make visits to the kitchen directly to supervise the production, processing and distribution processes," said Agus.
Meanwhile, Head of the Consumption Service Section of Daker Mecca Benny Darmawan said that food consumption providers must really pay attention to the distribution schedule.
"This distribution process is very important because it is related to food intake that will support the health of the congregation," said Benny.
Indonesian pilgrims are scheduled to begin arriving in Mecca on June 1, 2023.
The first batch of the Jakarta Pondok Gede (JKG 01) will be the first group to arrive after undergoing Arbain's worship at the Prophet's Mosque, Medina for 40 times.
