Sandi Uno: Punish Coldplay Ticket Counterfeiters!
JAKARTA - The Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Uno emphasized that the person who forged concert tickets for the British band Coldplay must be dealt with firmly.
"First, this is a rule of law country, we must take firm action against counterfeiting Coldplay concert tickets according to legal corridors," Sandiaga said after inaugurating the Kelawi Tourism Village, in South Lampung, Lampung, quoted from Antara, Saturday, May 27.
According to him, fraudsters or brokers of Coldplay concert tickets have greatly harmed the public, especially fans of Chris Martin and friends.
"We have coordinated with the police to thoroughly investigate Coldplay's concert ticket fraud, which has caused a lot of harm to the public," said Sandiaga.
Then, Menparekraf also revealed that he was trying to ask the promoter for an additional day so that all fans of the Coldplay band could watch together.
"We have asked to add more days, we have coordinated this with fellow promoters, I hope you will be patient," he said.
He also invited all parties to prove that Indonesia is very ready to hold an international concert.

"This is also to prove that Indonesia is a country which is one of the attractive tourist destinations for 8.9 million foreign tourists," he said again.
Previously, Menparekraf Sandiaga Uno appealed to fans to buy tickets from official and validated sources, so as not to get caught up in individuals who have bad intentions to make a profit.
According to Sandiaga, these individuals need to be legally prosecuted to provide a deterrent effect and not repeat their actions again.
