Srinivasan Balaji Warns Apple And Google Can Access Private Key Crypto Wallet
JAKARTA One of the controversial crypto figures, Balaji Srinivasan, recently made statements regarding US technology companies Apple and Google. He warned the United States government and other countries could force the two companies to access user crypto funds through applications from the two tech giants.
Srinivasan assesses that if users have large amounts of Bitcoin, it has the potential to become a political issue in the future. He continued, the government that lacks money can take part in public-owned crypto funds.
He also outlined how. One of them is that the government may force Apple, Google, and other technology companies to provide private key access from servers, devices or browsers they control. The funds have the potential to be taken and will be given to governments that require cash.

Srinivasan's Concerns
Srinivasan also expressed concern about Apple and Google, which it considers a systemic risk to crypto. If ordered by the federal government, these companies can access through backdoors to iPhone and Android devices, and get private keys owned by users.
According to Srinivasan, this was not a hacking act carried out by random hackers. Rather, this happened when the CEO of a company gave legitimate orders to hack their customers. An example is what happened to millions of Russians in 2022, where every technology company there betrayed their customers.
Srinivasan also suggested that if someone could not trust the operating system used, then it would be difficult. He argues that Linux could be an alternative, but devices that use Linux may not be able to develop quickly.
Although crypto exchanges built on Linux can also be the answer, such exchanges are usually crypto storage sites by third parties and are still vulnerable to similar attacks.
