Police Arrested Thief Specialist Breaking Into Minimarket Wall In Indramayu

InDRAMAYU - Indramayu Police, West Java, arrested a minimarket specialist thief by breaking into a wall. Currently, the police are still chasing three other people who have been identified.

"This perpetrator committed an act of theft by breaking into the walls of the minimarket that had been targeted," said Indramayu Police Chief AKBP Fahri Siregar, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, May 12.

When committing his crime, a gang of four targeted minimarkets in Indramayu Regency.

In carrying out the action, the suspects broke into the minimarket wall using a crowbar. After successfully entering, they immediately destroyed the CCTV DVR, to erase the traces of the suspects.

Of the four suspects, the police have just arrested a person with the initials RH, while three others are still being chased.

"We have just arrested one person with the initials RH, the other three are still being chased. We also ask that the three suspects surrender as soon as possible," he said.

The thieves, Fahri said, in every action can steal more than Rp. 30 million in the form of household necessities.

"Then they sold it, and the proceeds from the sale were divided equally among the four suspects," he said.

As a result of his actions, the suspect who has been arrested is subject to Article 363 of the Criminal Code with the threat of imprisonment for a maximum of seven years.
