Segini Performa Subaru Solterra, Kembaruan SUV Listrik Toyota BZ4X

JAKARTA - Some time ago, Subaru launched one of the SUVs that was put into the line of its electric vehicle, Solterra 2023.

In terms of design, the car resembles Toyota bZ4X's newest electric vehicle. In fact, these two cars share the same platform, namely Toyota's e-TNGA which is rebudged into an e-Subaru Global Platform.

Reported by Insidevs, Sunday, May 7, Subaru Solterra only offers an all-wheel drive (AWD) system with a capacity of 72.8 kWh. Meanwhile, Toyota bZ4X offers front-wheel drive options (FWD) and AWD.

In terms of distance, once the Subaru Solterra charging can cover a distance of up to 367 km for the 18-inch rim variant. Meanwhile, for the 20-inch rim version, it is reduced to 357 km, different from 10 km.

The resulting distance is the same as the Toyota bZ4X driving all wheels capable of producing 367 km in the 18-inch version, while 20 inches can cover 357 km.

Despite promising performance, the 72.8 kWh battery in Subaru Solterra or Toyota bZ4X can only receive 100 kW of fast charging DC.

Thus, the performance of charging is fairly normal which can fill in from 0 to 80 percent, it takes 56 minutes, almost an hour.

From its performance, it is quite understandable because Solterra is the same as the bZ4X of Toyota, which is the first two products for Japanese brands in the electric vehicle market.

Regarding the price, both Subaru Solterra and Toyota bZ4X driving all wheels were sold from 44,995 US dollars (around Rp661.6 million) to 48,495 US dollars (around Rp713.3 million).

For the Indonesian market, Toyota only provides one variant of bZ4X which uses an FWD driving system with a 71.4 kWh battery of IDR 1.19 billion.
