Waskita Bossjerat Kasus Korupsi, Menteri BUMN Sebut Bisa Influence Kinerja Saham WSKT
JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir said that after the President Director of PT Waskita Karya Tbk (WSKT) became a suspect in the alleged corruption case, the movement of shares was also affected.
Furthermore, Erick explained that the phenomenon of stock movements like this does not only happen in state-owned companies, but also in private companies.
"Of course the risk of this legal case can be affected (to stock performance). However, incidents like this do not only occur in SOEs, but also in private sectors, "he said at the Ministry of SOEs Office, Jakarta, Wednesday, May 3.
Even so, Erick believes, Waskita Karya's overall performance is quite good, as can be seen from the achievements of financial performance. One of them is dividend deposits.
"But I'm sure the consolidation of performance is still good. Dividends, including all kinds of things," he explained.
In addition, Erick also emphasized that the Ministry of SOEs does not tolerate any perpetrators of corruption in the BUMN environment.
Moreover, he said, his party has also collaborated between the Ministry of SOEs and the Attorney General's Office. Therefore, he stressed that he would stick to the work there.
"From an early age I said, I didn't give my conscience to the rats who were corrupt, I didn't give it," he said.
As is known, the Attorney General's Office (AGO) has named the President Director of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Destiawan Soewardjono as a suspect in the alleged corruption case of irregularities or the use of PT Waskita Beton Precast funds for the 2016-2020 period.

Destiawan who served as President Director of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk for the period July 2020 until now has been detained for 20 days since Friday, April 28.
