PT LMS Bangun Bak Penampungan Air Tangani Semburan Api Di Rest Area Tol Cipali
JAKARTA - PT Lintas Marga Sedaya (LMS) built a water reservoir as an effort to extinguish the fireflow in the rest area and service (rest area) KM 86 B of the Cipali toll road.
"PT Lintas Marga Sedaya together with experts including the Department of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) of West Java Province, the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), the Subang Fire Department, Subang Police, West Java Police and also assisted by the Pertamina team continue to conduct in-depth observations related to the bursts of fire which since Wednesday 26 April 2023. The burst of fire originating from a bore well in the rest area of KM 86 B is a natural gas that appears suddenly," said the Director of Operations of PT Lintas Marga Sedaya Agung Prasetyo as reported by ANTARA, Friday, April 28.
Agung explained that entering the third day, LMS began to build a water reservoir that was used to support the water needs of the Subang Fire Service (Damkar) in an effort to extinguish the fire at the location of the burst.
"In addition to making water reservoirs that are used to support water needs as corolling and extinguishing, today we will also continue to install the spandex shield fence at the location around the bursts of fire," he said.
PT LMS also ensured that the KM 86 area rest conditions were sterile from visitors, tenant owners and the community by temporarily closing the KM 86 rest area. Since the emergence of the bursts of fire, LMS has evacuated the tenant owners to immediately move away from the location.
"Coordination with related parties such as ESDM, BPBD, Subang Fire Department, Subang Police, West Java Police and Pertamina's Team from the beginning we have been waiting for directions from relevant government agencies that are competent in handling natural gas in the KM 86 B rest area," said Agung.
