Interfaith Leaders Enliven Open House Ganjar In Tawangmangu
KARANGANYAR-Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, held an open house at his birthplace in Tawangmangu, Karanganyar on Monday, April 24. The event was attended by around 6000 people from various regions in Indonesia.
Apart from Muslims, Ganjar's open house was also attended by interfaith figures such as priests, monks, nurses, and other religious leaders. Bhiksu Santawanu, a cross-religious figure who was present at the event, said that he and his interfaith friends from Boyolali came to stay in touch and pray for Ganjar to always be healthy, happy, and prosperous.
"We and our friends today only took the time to come to his residence so that we could stay together. We also wish him and his family the best," said Bhiksu Santawanu.
Bhiksu Santawanu also hopes that Ganjar can become the leader of Indonesia. His party will always provide the best support and prayers.
"We believe he can unite religious communities in Indonesia. Everyone can unite and live a peaceful life," he concluded.
The same thing was conveyed by Pastor Japarlin Marbun, a church leader from Jakarta. He said he was grateful to be able to stay in touch with Ganjar.
"We came from various parts of Indonesia, some from Eastern Indonesia, some from western Indonesia, some from Central Indonesia. We from church leaders, church leaders wish you a happy Eid al-Fitr to your family," he said.
Pastor Japarlin Marbun also considers Ganjar as a nationalist leader who has extraordinary ideas towards nationality.

According to him, Ganjar is an anti-perturbation figure and shows concrete actions to realize community tolerance. He hopes that Indonesia will progress further under the leadership of Ganjar and all the nation's children can live peacefully.
