Vehicle Volume Increases, Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road Implements Contraflow Starting KM 36-KM 70

PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) enforces contraflow from KM 36 + 800 Cikarang Pusat to KM 70 Cikampek Utama Toll Gate at 10.30 WIB.

VP. Corporate Secretary and Legal JTT Ria Marlinda Paallo said the contraflow was carried out to anticipate an increase in the volume of traffic that occurred on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road towards Cikampek.

"Currently, the volume of vehicle traffic towards Cikampek on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road has been observed to increase," he told the media, Thursday, April 20.

He continued, to optimize transaction services at the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate, PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol operates a total of 26 toll substations from normal conditions of 13 toll substations, and an additional alert for 17 mobile reader units to increase transaction capacity.

Ria also appealed to Trans Java toll road users to prepare themselves before entering a trip on the toll road. "For road users who will go to Bandung, they are advised not to use the contraflow route," he said.

He also asked motorists to ensure that the vehicle is in prime condition, has sufficient electronic money balance, refuels before starting the trip and brings supplies to avoid crowds or congestion in the rest area.

"Always be careful when driving, obey signs and follow directions from officers in the field," he concluded.
