Police Arrest Perpetrator Of Stabbing Of Former Judicial Commission Chairman In Less Than 24 Hours

BANDUNG - The perpetrator of the stabbing of the former Chairman of the Judicial Commission (KY), Jaja Ahmad Jayus, and his daughter, Rahmi Dwi Utami, was arrested.

Bandung Police Chief Kombes Kusworo Wibowo confirmed that the perpetrator of the stabbing of the former head of the Judicial Commission had been arrested. He said the perpetrator was detained for less than 24 hours.

"We caught the perpetrator of the stabbing of the former head of the Judicial Commission before 1X24 hours," said Kuswoto in a short message to VOI, Wednesday, March 29.

When asked further, Kusworo refused to mention. Because the details will be conveyed later during a press conference at the Bandung Police.

"And the plan is that this morning at 10.00 we will have a press conference," he concluded.

Former Chairman of the Judicial Commission (KY) Jaja Ahmad Jayus and his daughter were victims of an attack. Jaja was stabbed by an unknown person (OTK) when he just arrived at his house at GBA 2 Complex, Bandung Regency, West Java.

Head of Public Relations of the West Java Regional Police, Kombes Ibrahim Tompo, said that Jaja suffered a head wound as a result of being hit by a sharp weapon.

"Wounds to the head and back of the neck," said Ibrahim in a short message to VOI, Tuesday, March 28.

After the incident, the alleged perpetrators amounted to one person escaping using a Honda Vario two-wheeled vehicle. Ibrahim said the attack took place on Tuesday, March 28, at 15.00 WIB.

He explained that the incident started when the victim had just arrived at his house in the GBA 2 Complex, getting out of a black HRV car with number D 1652 VBQ, and suddenly being attacked by OTK using a motorbike.

“It is suspected that the victim was stalked by an external perpetrator. Arriving in front of the house, the victim got out of the car and was about to enter the house, and was immediately attacked by the perpetrator," he said.

As a result of the incident, Jaja suffered a head injury.

Jaja and his daughter Rahmi Dwi Utami, who were victims of the attack, were immediately taken by local residents to Mayapada Hospital in Bandung for intensive treatment.

"The residents brought the victims to Mayapada Hospital," he said.
