How To Hide Apps On Samsung Galaxy Devices

JAKARTA All Samsung-made phones can hide apps that have been installed. However, not many people know how to hide software through application drawer.

By hiding the app, Samsung Galaxy users can improve security in the app they want. Enforcement of hiding this app is also a security alternative in addition to biometric authentication.

Quoting from Makeuseof, you just need to press the empty area on the main screen to hide apps on the Samsung Galaxy device. After that, tap the Settings icon visible in the lower left corner of the screen.

If the Main Screen Settings page is open, scroll the screen to search for the Hide App menu on the Main Screen and Application. Then, look for an application you want to hide from the screen, then select Done.

When you return to the drawer display, the selected app will disappear. Unfortunately, the application that has been hidden cannot be accessed quickly. You must first open Settings and search for the application.

If the application hiding option is not visible in Main Screen Settings, you can still hide the app using the Nova Launcher app. This application can be downloaded for free on the Google Play Store.

After the application is downloaded, go to Nova Launcher Settings by pressing an empty area on the main screen. Next, select the App Laci and scroll the screen to search for the Hide App option.

If all the apps are visible on the screen, select the app you want to hide, then click Save Changes. The only shortcoming of Nova Launcher is that the app can still be searched even though it's already hidden.
