Twitch announced it will expand its Partner Plus program, which will provide 60% revenue sharing for streamers who can keep 100 Point Plus for three consecutive months.

Furthermore, Twitch will also reduce the Point Plus limit for streamers earning 70% of revenue, where initially they had to have 350 Plus points, now they only need 300 Plus points.

In addition, since 2016, Twitch users who are also Amazon Prime members have been given monthly tokens that they can use to subscribe to their favorite Twitch channel.

Now, Twitch is developing this program and the benefits of a monthly sub token that is now part of Prime Gaming's wider benefits, which also includes free games.

"This Prime Gaming sub token has become an additional source of income for many Twitch streamers and has provided viewers with the opportunity to enjoy customer benefits on Twitch without having to spend extra dollars. Prime Gaming is a close partner and looks at the incredible value of continuing to support Twitch streamers through this program," Twitch CEO and Clancy wrote in a blog post.

More than that, Twitch will also start adjusting the Prime Gaming subscription rate based on customer countries, effective from June 3, 2024.

Previously, this subscription price was the same in every country, but now for Indonesia itself, the Prime Gaming subscription price will be priced at 0.75 US dollars or Rp. 12 thousand.

The news comes two weeks after parent company Amazon announced it would lay off more than 500 Twitch employees, accounting for a third of the total employees there.
