JAKARTA - In October 2023, social media platform X has launched audio and video calling features for iOS users. Now, this feature will be rolling out gradually to Android users.

Announced for the first time by one of the technicians X @enriquebrgn, in his post he said Angular audio and video calls X are slowly rolling out to Android users today! Update your app and call your mother.

This calling feature was first revealed by Linda Yaccarino, CEO X, last August as part of a plan that she and Elon Musk set up to make the app "all of it".

Unfortunately, the audio and video calling features are only available to premium customers. However, each user can receive a call. The subscription price X starts from IDR 64 thousand to IDR 349 thousand per month.

On the X help page, the company says that you can set who can call you from Direct Message Settings.

But, by default, you will be able to receive a call from the account you follow or save in the address book.

To be able to call other users, the user must have sent you a Direct Message at least once.
